You will now have received our welcome email informing you that you are a named guarantor on the tenancy agreement and therefore added to the Reposit.

At this point, there are no immediate actions required from you through Reposit. However, we would like to outline the process that will be followed if the tenant is found liable for charges such as cleaning, damages, rent arrears, or other charges at the end of the tenancy.

If any such charges arise, both you and the tenant will be notified. The tenant will have the option to either agree and accept the charges or proceed to dispute them.

As the guarantor, it is expected that you will assist the tenant in responding to the charges. All responses to the charges submitted by the letting agent/landlord must be registered through the tenant's Reposit account.

Depending on the outcome, whether the tenant accepts the charges or is found liable post-dispute, you will be equally responsible for settling the charges.
