A guarantor is required when a tenant wants to use Reposit but cannot meet our eligibility criteria. This could range from the tenant not being a UK citizen, or them not meeting the affordability criteria, for example, a student.

As a guarantor, you are there to support the tenant when required and should only sign up to be a guarantor for a tenant you trust.

To be a guarantor, you would be required to pass our eligibility checks, the letting agent or landlord of the property can provide you with more information on what this entails.

It's important to note, that if the tenant falls into rent arrears, or has outstanding charges at the end of the tenancy, you will be required to assist them and ensure these charges are settled.
