An inventory report is a detailed document that records the condition and contents of a property at the start of a tenancy. It is an important document that can be referred to in the event of dispute over damages or cleanliness at the end of the tenancy.

  1. What is the Purpose of the Inventory Report Reminders?
    Inventory report reminders are designed to facilitate a smoother end-of-tenancy process by ensuring that you have all the necessary documentation in place. These reminders serve as proactive support to help you stay organised and prepared.

  2. Do the Inventory Report Reminders replace my current inventory process?
    No, the Inventory Report Reminders are not intended to replace your existing inventory process. We recognise that our partners have diverse approaches, so this feature is an addition meant to provide extra support and serve as a reminder.

  3. How does the Inventory Report Reminder feature work?
    At the beginning of the tenancy, we reach out to tenants to confirm if they have received their inventory report. If tenants indicate that they have not received it, we will send you an email reminder.
    Additionally, a dismissible banner will be displayed on your Reposit dashboard.

    Subsequently, you can share or resend the inventory report to your tenants. We will then follow up to confirm its receipt.

  4. What should I do when I receive an Inventory Report Reminder?
    When you receive an Inventory Report Reminder, it means that your tenants have indicated they haven't received the inventory report. To address this, kindly share or resend the inventory report to your tenants. After you've done so, we'll follow up to ensure that they have indeed received it
