Traditional Deposit Integration: How it works

A step by step guide to the Traditional Deposit Integration Process

How do I start?

Once you have spoken to Reposit about using Traditional Deposit Integration, your 1st step will be to activate the integration from your Reposit dashboard.

Log into your Reposit dashboard and click "Offer Reposit" in the bottom left hand corner of the screen:

From here, you will be presented with the Integration page with your Account Settings. Click Connect to mydeposits:

You will then be transferred to the mydeposits login page. After logging in you will be presented with the consent page which allows Reposit to integrate with mydeposits.

Click Yes, Allow:

You will then be immediately transferred back to the Reposit dashboard:

The final action is to select an office (if needed) and Complete Set Up.

You are now ready to start inviting your tenants!

How do I invite a tenant?

Once your tenants have completed referencing, proceed to log into your Reposit dashboard.

From there, click "Offer Reposit" as shown below:

The Offer Reposit page will then require certain information to be entered for you to proceed. You will need to provide:

  • Property Address

  • Confirmation of Passed Referencing

  • Rent Amount

  • Deposit Amount

  • Tenancy Management Type

  • Tenancy Start Date

  • Tenant Name(s) and Email Address(es)

Note: Should the tenant not be eligible to use Reposit (Who is eligible to use Reposit and what are the criteria?) and you confirm when asked that only some of the tenants have passed referencing, then only mydeposits will be offered.

Once the above information has been entered, the Things you need to do will update to show green ticks:

Confirm the Terms & Conditions for both Reposit and mydeposits and click Offer Reposit:

The Offer will then show on your Offers page (available via the left hand menu) awaiting the tenants choice.
