The cost of your Reposit is equal to one weeks’ rent. For example, if your rent is £500, your Reposit will cost £115.38.
You are required to pay an annual fee of £30 to Reposit year on year for as long as you are in the property.
End of Tenancy Charges - Dispute Cost
If end of tenancy charges are raised against you at the end of tenancy, you have the option to accept or dispute the charge.
If you choose to dispute the charge you will be required to pay £60 upfront.
The case will then be independently arbitrated.
- If the arbitration result if allocated wholly in the landlord’s favour, you will not be refunded the £60 charge
- If the charges are reduced the £60 fee will be deducted from the final amount due
- If the report is less than £60, the charge will be partially or fully refunded back to you on the same date the result is issued
Please note that if the arbitration result is a lesser amount but greater than the dispute fee, you will still be required to pay for the end of tenancy charges as you are still liable.
