We believe everyone should enjoy financial freedom, especially when it comes to moving house and renting. We don’t think it makes sense to have your money tied up for a year (or longer) in case of an accident that might not even happen.
This is why we came up with an alternative process where you don’t need to pay for a deposit.
So how does Reposit work?
Once you find your dream rental property, your letting agent will give you the option to pay the equivalent of 1 week’s worth of rent as a service charge instead of the traditional 1 month’s deposit.
This upfront saving means you can use the rest of your money however you want - invest in new furniture, buy flight tickets or put it aside in a savings account.
It is worth noting that you remain liable for all end of tenancy charges which could include but are not limited to damages, cleaning and rent arrears.
At the end of tenancy, you can dispute these charges if you feel they have been unfairly raised and misrepresent your tenancy. Please refer to our End of Tenancy FAQs for further information.
