- Check on your agent dashboard whether the end date is still the original date agreed. If not, just get in touch and we will amend it
- Organize the end of tenancy activities as you would usually e.g check out etc
- Once the tenancy has come to an end and you have received the check out report, discuss whether your Landlord wants to claim against the Reposit. You have a 14 day window to notify us of any claims through the platform
a) If no, sit back and relax! The Reposit will come to an end naturally and will deactivate itself within 7 days of the end of tenancy date
b) If yes, let us know within 14 days whether there are any claims via the process (and another 10 days to upload any supporting evidence). Here is a video that shows you exactly how to do this: https://support.getreposit.uk/hc/en-us/articles/115002988711-For-agents-landlords-how-to-end-a-Reposit-and-make-a-claim-at-the-end-of-the-tenancy
If the tenant agrees within 7 days of the claim, you will receive the claim amount within 2 days of us receiving the monies from the tenant.
If the tenant takes the claim to ADR, then we will keep you up to date with the progress and the decision of the adjudicator. Once we have received the decision, you will be notified and you will receive the agreed money within 2 days of the decision. The entire end to end process will take place within 28 days.
