Cancellation and Refund Policy

We understand that there may be situations where a Reposit needs to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances such as a tenancy not proceeding or a tenant or a landlord don't intend to use Reposit.

Who can cancel a Reposit?

As an agent, you can cancel a Reposit from your dashboard if it is before the tenancy start date or if the tenant has not completed the signup process and has not paid the Reposit fee. Otherwise, please email us at hello@reposit.co.uk with the following information:

  • Full property address as on the Reposit
  • Full name and email address of the tenant

Please note that we can only cancel a Reposit upon receipt of a request from the Reposit partner, a tenant cannot request a cancellation.

Will the Reposit fee be refunded?

Once we receive the request from the letting agent or landlord we can consider a refund of the Reposit fee back to the tenant (if eligible). If a refund is issued to the tenant, they should receive it in 5 to 10 business days.

Will I be charged anything?

You must cancel the Reposit as soon as possible. If an active Reposit is cancelled after more than a month of the start date, you will be charged a £50 penalty fee which will be deducted from your future payout.

We will deduct any commission paid out to you if a Reposit is cancelled from future commission payments.
