Reposit will no longer require a tenancy end date on the dashboard or via integrations with referencing providers where a tenancy is marked as periodic.
If your Reposit is not marked as periodic (for instance for PBSA providers) then an end date for the current term must be entered.

Reposits will run for a fixed term of 2 years from the tenancy's start date. Should the tenancy continue beyond the initial 2 year term, it should be extended.
There is no cost to extend a Reposit.

The Reposit should be checked out in the dashboard as soon as the tenant vacates, even if there are no charges to raise. Check Out can be actioned at any time.
Failure to check out a Reposit when the tenant vacates causes incorrect correspondence to be sent and charges to be collected from the tenant.

When extending a periodic Reposit you will no longer need a tenancy end date. When a Reposit is extended, it will be by a further 2 years.

There is nothing you need to do.
As all tenancies will become periodic as of the 1st May, prior to the Renters' rights Act coming in, Reposit will extend all active Reposits automatically to a 2 year term.

Active Reposits will have a prompt for the date the tenant has given you. Entering the date will allow Reposit to send you and the tenant intelligent reminders so that the Reposit can be checked out once the tenant has vacated.

The Renter's Rights Act means that a tenant serving notice will now bind all tenants and terminate the tenancy. This change means future tenant swaps are expected to primarily use new tenancy agreements, our tenant swap process is still applicable and will not be changed.
